Biography

Dr. Ho is the Director of Quality Assurance for the Cardiovascular Division of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Ho is a graduate of the University of California at San Diego and Harvard Medical School. He received a Master of Science Degree in Epidemiology with concentration in clinical epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health. He trained in internal medicine at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston prior to receiving fellowship training in general and interventional cardiology at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He also completed a research fellowship at the Framingham Heart Study of the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute. Dr. Ho is a member of the Interventional Cardiology Section of Cardiovascular Institute at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and particularly enjoys teaching hemodynamics to cardiology fellows and clinical epidemiology to 1st year students at Harvard Medical School. He serves as the Chief of Clinical Epidemiology and Vice Chair of the Clinical Events Committee of the Harvard Clinical Research Institute. Dr. Ho is a member of the Science Oversight Committee for the National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR), the Steering Committee for the NCDR CARE Registry, the Research and Publication Subcommittee as well as the Clinical Support Team for the NCDR CathPCI Registry. He is a senior medical advisor to the Massachusetts Data Analysis Center (Mass-DAC) Cardiac Study (the organization responsible for analyzing risk-adjusted CABG and PCI outcomes for the Department of Public Health of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts).
