Biography

Donald Cutlip MD is an Interventional Cardiologist and serves as Executive Director of Clinical Investigation at HCRI. In this role he works closely with the groups responsible for management of the Clinical Event Committee and Data and Safety Monitoring Board activities.

He also works with industry sponsors in early clinical trial design and planning activities, and collaborates with other Harvard investigators in developing initial clinical trial designs and functional academic and industry alliances. He maintains a full time appointment on the Interventional Cardiology staff at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where he is Director of Interventional Cardiology Research and is Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.

He has co-authored several original publications in the field of Interventional Cardiology and related clinical trials.
