Biography
Dr. Shvilkin received his MD degree from the First Moscow Medical Institute and PhD degree in Cardiology and Pharmacology from the Russian Cardiology Research Center in Moscow. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in Bronx, NY. He completed his training in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Shvilkin works a clinical electrophysiologist at BIDMC and South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth performing a full range of electrophysiological procedures: pacemaker, ICD, and resynchronization therapy, electrophysiological studies and ablations including ablations for atrial fibrillation. He is a Clinical Director of the Cardiac Arrhythmia monitoring laboratory at BIDMC. His research interests include 3-dimensional computerized analysis of electrocardiogram.Phone
