Biography

Dr. Gervino is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Clinical Physiology Laboratory at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center's Cardiology Division. He received his doctoral degree from Boston University in 1982 in Applied Anatomy and Physiology. He has held academic appointments/affiliations with Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston University and Northeastern University. He has served as Director of the Exercise Testing Core Lab for the Harvard Clinical Research Institute on a number if national and international trials since 1998 to the present. He serves as a reviewer for several peer review journals and has served on ACC/AHA committee on position stand on who is competent to supervise exercise testing.
