Donald Cutlip, MD

Donald CutlipDr. Donald Cutlip is a leader in the field of interventional cardiology. Dr. Cutlip is one of the founding members of Cardiac Data Analysis Center, prior to its merger with HCRI, first as a research fellow and later as Medical Co-Director. In addition to his many publications in the field of interventional cardiology, he was a leader in the establishment of an academic research consortium (ARC) that developed standardized endpoint definitions for late stent thrombosis and other coronary stent clinical trial endpoints. He has developed many of HCRI's methods for clinical event adjudication and data monitoring committees. He is the acting Director of the Catheterization Laboratory at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and is Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He has co-authored several original publications in the field of interventional cardiology. Dr. Cutlip earned his MD from the University of South Florida and spent his residency at the University of Connecticut.
