From the North

  • Take I-93 or Route 1 South into Boston.
  • Take Exit 26, Storrow Drive; follow signs onto Storrow Drive.
  • Continue on Storrow Drive to the Kenmore Square exit (on the left).
  • At the first set of lights turn right onto Beacon Street.
  • Bear right at the far end of Kenmore Square onto Commonwealth Avenue.
  • Follow Commonwealth Avenue to Pleasant Street and turn left onto Pleasant.
  • HCRI is located at the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Pleasant Street. The entrance to 930-W Commonweath Avenue is actually on Pleasant Street. HCRI’s offices are on the third floor. Public parking is available in a garage on Dummer Street adjacent to the building.

From the Southeast

  • Take I-93 or Route 3 North to Boston and the Southeast Expressway.
  • Take Exit 26, Storrow Drive; follow signs onto Storrow Drive.
  • Continue on Storrow Drive to the Kenmore Square exit (on the left).
  • At the first set of lights, turn right onto Beacon Street.

  • Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) East to Exit 18 (End of the 'Pike).
  • Exit left and follow the signs to Cambridge to the second set of lights.
  • Turn right at the lights onto Storrow Drive.
  • Exit Storrow Drive at the Boston University Exit.
  • Turn right onto Commonwealth Avenue.
  • Follow Commonwealth Avenue to Pleasant and turn onto Pleasant Street.

From the North Shore/Logan Airport

  • Take Route 1A through the Sumner Tunnel to downtown Boston.
  • At the end of the tunnel, follow the signs for Expressway North (I-93),
  • Take Exit 26, Storrow Drive. Follow signs onto Storrow Drive.
  • Continue on Storrow Drive to the Kenmore Square exit (on the left).
  • At the first set of lights, turn right onto Beacon Street.
  • Bear right at the far end of Kenmore Square onto Commonwealth Avenue.
  • Follow Commonwealth Avenue to Pleasant and turn left onto Pleasant Street.

By Public TransportationClick to Expand

Red Line

  • Take the Red Line to Park Street. Transfer to the westbound Green Line "B" train (The B-line is the Boston College Line); get off at Pleasant Street. The Agganis Arena is directly across Commonwealth Avenue and is in plain view from the B-line.

Blue Line (including from Logan Airport)

  • Take the Blue Line to Government Center. Transfer to the westbound Green Line "B" train; get off at Pleasant Street.

Orange Line

  • Take the Orange Line to Downtown Crossing. Follow the underground concourse to the Green Line (Park Street station). Transfer to the westbound Green Line "B" train; get off at Pleasant Street.

Green Line

  • From Lechmere, Science Park, North Station or Haymarket: take any train to Government Center and transfer to the "B" line, to Pleasant Street.
  • On the suburban "C" (Cleveland Circle) or "D" (Riverside) lines, take any train inbound as far as Kenmore Square, cross to the outbound platform and take the "B" train to Pleasant Street.
  • On the "E" (Heath Street) Line, take any train inbound as far as Arlington, cross to the outbound platform and take the "B" train to Pleasant Street.

By Bus

  • Take any of the following routes to Kenmore Square: 8,57,60,65,8A.
  • Get on the Green Line "B" train to Pleasant Street.
